Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (100% subsidiary of IndusInd Bank) and IndusInd Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government of Tamil Nadu for their Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, Bharat Sanjeevani. This initiative, in collaboration with AAVIN – Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (TNCMPFL) under the Dairy Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, aims to provide essential veterinary services and animal husbandry information to livestock owners associated with the AAVIN milk federation in the state.
The collaboration will facilitate doorstep veterinary services, artificial insemination, and vital information in the milk collection and distribution routes of AAVIN through Emergency Response Centres (ERC), which will be operated, maintained and resourced by Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (100% subsidiary of IndusInd Bank) and IndusInd Bank.
Dr S Vineeth, IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Milk Producer’s Federation Limited stated during the media briefing, “This collaboration represents a significant step towards improving veterinary services accessibility, ultimately benefiting Tamil Nadu’s Dairy Farmers.
