Ananda Dairy Targets Rs 10,000 Cr Revenue by 2030

Ananda Dairy Targets Rs 10,000 Cr Revenue by 2030
Prefer on

Ananda Dairy Ltd has set an ambitious growth agenda, aiming to scale its annual turnover to ₹10,000 crore by 2030, a significant leap from its ~₹1,700 crore turnover in FY 2024. The privately held dairy company plans to achieve this milestone through expanded processing capacity, product diversification and deeper market penetration across India’s rapidly growing dairy landscape.

Founded in 1989 in Siyana, Uttar Pradesh, Ananda has built a strong operational foundation rooted in village-level milk procurement from over 300,000 farmers via more than 6,000 collection centres, supported by 35 chilling facilities and five processing plants at Pilkhuwa, Siyana, Gajraula, Varanasi and Raebareli with a combined handling capacity of around 18 lakh litres per day. Daily procurement consistently exceeds 10 lakh litres, reflecting robust supply chain integration.

To power growth, Ananda is broadening its product mix beyond core milk, dahi, paneer and ghee, adding UHT milk, flavoured milks, milkshakes, A2 milk and spreads, and venturing into complementary food categories like frozen peas, soya products, idli-dosa batter and tofu to capture diverse consumption occasions and price points. Distribution now spans over 100 cities in 15 states, covering roughly 1.5 lakh kirana outlets and modern retail formats through a network of more than 5,000 distributors, cementing its urban presence.

The company’s strategy reflects broader dynamics in India’s dairy sector — one of the fastest-growing parts of the country’s food economy, driven by rising protein demand, expanding value-added products, and strengthening rural-urban supply chains. According to industry projections, organised dairy players are expected to sustain double-digit growth supported by consumption patterns and evolving retail channels.

While Ananda’s ₹10,000 crore target positions it to compete more aggressively with larger players, it still operates at a smaller scale relative to industry giants such as Amul, which posted turnover nearing ₹90,000 crore in FY 2025, and Mother Dairy, which is projected to surpass around ₹17,000 crore, underscoring the competitive intensity in India’s dairy market.

Overall, Ananda’s growth blueprint combines field-level procurement depth, product portfolio breadth and urban distribution scale, aiming to navigate India’s evolving consumer demands and accelerate its journey toward the ₹10,000 crore milestone by the end of the decade.
