HC Adjourns Plea; Vipul Chaudhary Remains Ineligible

Chaudhary, a former minister and ex-chairman, was convicted in July 2023 and handed a seven-year sentence for alleged financial mis-conduct tied to liquid feed supply to drought-hit Maharashtra in 2013.

The court’s decision means that Chaudhary remains barred from the upcoming director elections, scheduled with nominations closing Nov 24 and scrutiny to follow.
