Atelier Expressions, the premium lifestyle platform of TVS VENU, has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Lonestar Hospitality Private Limited, the New Delhi-based company behind the luxury handcrafted mithai brand Khoya, marking its expansion into India's premium food and lifestyle segment.
Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026, while Sid Mathur, who founded Khoya in 2016, will continue to lead the brand's operations with his existing team. The partnership aims to accelerate Khoya's expansion across India while preserving its heritage, craftsmanship and brand identity.
Founded on the belief that Indian mithai deserves the same quality, creativity and attention as the world's finest luxury food brands, Khoya has built a premium portfolio of traditional mithai, chikki, mukhwas and savoury snacks, serving both retail and corporate gifting segments through its digital channels and select Delhi outlets.
The acquisition also strengthens Atelier Expressions' growing portfolio, which already includes J.L. Coquet, the historic French Limoges porcelain house, Khadak, the Dubai-based restaurant founded by Chef Naved Nasir, and Hedon, the London luxury motorcycle helmet brand.
TVS VENU, which operates in more than 90 countries and reported approximately USD 6.5 billion in FY26 revenue, said the investment reflects its strategy of building a curated portfolio of heritage-led, artisanal brands with strong long-term growth potential. (ETHospitalityWorld.com)
