Parag Milk Foods has unveiled a new brand identity for its premium dairy brand Pride of Cows, introducing a younger and more contemporary expression while retaining the brand’s existing farm-to-home and single-origin proposition.
The refreshed identity is designed to move Pride of Cows beyond conventional dairy communication and strengthen its positioning around nourishment, wellbeing, nature and intentional living. The company said the objective is to reconnect the brand with its aspirational character as consumer expectations and the dairy category continue to evolve.
A key element of the new identity is the egret, a bird found around the Pride of Cows farm. Rather than focusing exclusively on the cow as a traditional dairy symbol, the new visual language uses the egret to represent the broader farm ecosystem surrounding the herd.
The brand identity was developed in partnership with Pollinate, with contributions across typography, illustration, motion and sound. The redesign therefore extends beyond a new logo to create a broader visual and sonic system for the brand.
According to Parag Milk Foods Executive Director Akshali Shah, Pride of Cows was originally built around a differentiated farm-to-home proposition and a different consumer relationship with dairy. The refreshed identity is intended to present that proposition in a more dynamic and aspirational manner.
The company has emphasised that the operational foundation remains unchanged. Pride of Cows continues to follow its single-origin philosophy, with milk sourced from the same farm and herd rather than changing its underlying sourcing model as part of the rebranding.
The rebranding comes as premiumisation and lifestyle-oriented positioning become increasingly important elements of dairy-brand communication. Pride of Cows is seeking to build a consumer proposition that extends beyond the product itself and associates the brand with lifestyle and personal choices.
Parag Milk Foods' wider portfolio includes dairy brands such as Gowardhan and Go, along with its sports-nutrition brand Avvatar. The company has also identified premiumisation and newer nutrition categories as areas of focus for its broader business.
For the premium dairy segment, the Pride of Cows refresh illustrates how established dairy brands are increasingly using brand experience, provenance and lifestyle positioning alongside traditional product attributes to differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
