
Chinese dairy leader Yili Group highlighted its latest advances in functional dairy products and precision nutrition at the 19th Global Dairy Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, from 17–18 June 2026.
During the Industry Leadership session, Dr. Ignatius Szeto, Vice President of Yili Group, delivered a keynote titled "Creating High Value Functional Product Opportunities," emphasizing that precision nutrition is emerging as a key growth driver for dairy innovation through products tailored to specific demographic groups and health needs.
He also presented Yili's latest innovations in the goat milk category, showcasing its digestive, absorptive and nutritional benefits for consumers across all life stages. At the 2026 World Dairy Innovation Awards, Yili received two Winner titles, 10 Finalist recognitions and seven Commended honours.
Its Changqing Lemon & Oat Popping Beads Probiotic Yogurt won Best Yogurt, while Gonglao's Hulunbuir Strain Milk Skin Yogurt was named Best Artisan Product, marking the seventh consecutive year the company has been recognised at the awards. According to Yili's latest financial report, new products contributed 16.4% of the company's revenue in 2025, reflecting the growing importance of innovation in its business strategy.
The company also showcased products targeting blood sugar management, bone health, cardiovascular care, gastrointestinal nutrition and sports immunity, reinforcing its focus on high-value, consumer-centric dairy solutions.
