Vita plant earns NDDB Quality Mark; IS 9005 & 22000 secured

The Vita Milk Plant in Ballabhgarh, run by the Ballabhgarh Cooperative Milk Producers' Union, has earned NDDB’s prestigious “Quality Mark”, alongside IS 9005 and IS 22000 certifications. During an HHRC inspection, the plant’s efforts were praised for uplifting farmers and delivering safe, affordable dairy—including ghee, paneer, curd, lassi, khoa, butter, and 50,000 litres per day to the Delhi Milk Scheme—via over 1 lakh litres collected daily and 160 milk booths. Officials emphasized the importance of combating milk misconceptions—highlighting that Vita processes milk cooperatively and directly.
