Sardar Cattle Feed, a livestock-nutrition brand with roots dating back to 1984, is expanding its business under
Sudharma Animal Nutrition Pvt. Ltd., moving beyond its traditional cattle-feed focus toward a broader animal-nutrition portfolio and wider domestic and international markets.
The business was established in 1984 by Late Shri Ramesh Goyal as Shri Sudharma Industries. According to the company, it has evolved over four decades from a family-run cattle-feed operation into an animal-nutrition business, with Sardar Cattle Feed and Sudharma Feed currently operating as its two brands.
Sudharma Animal Nutrition adopted its current corporate structure in 2026, with
Akshit Ram Goyal as Managing Director, while Savita Goyal and Isha Goyal serve as directors. The company continues to operate its manufacturing facility at Village Kauri on G.T. Road near Khanna in Punjab.
Expanding the Animal-Nutrition Portfolio
The Sardar portfolio currently includes four cow-feed products—
Sardar Gold Line C-3000, Sardar Red Label C-5000, Sardar Energy+ C-8000 and Sardar Booster C-10000—along with buffalo products such as Sardar Buff Booster and Sardar Buff+, and mineral supplements including Sardar Min Forte and Sardar Cal Forte.
The company’s feeding guidance considers protein, energy, fat, minerals, vitamins, breed, age, body condition, milk output and lactation stage. It recommends combining concentrated feed with appropriate green grass or hay rather than treating cattle feed as the animal’s complete ration.
Manufacturing and Distribution Expansion
Sudharma Animal Nutrition says ingredients undergo laboratory testing and quality-control analysis before processing. Its manufacturing process includes proportionate dosing, grinding, mixing, molassing and pelleting, with finished products packed in HDPE bags.
The company is also working to strengthen its dealer and distributor network across India. Punjab remains an important operating market, while the business has expanded its presence into several other Indian states.
Plans Beyond Cattle Feed
The company has stated plans to broaden its livestock-nutrition categories to include products for
cattle, goats and pigs. It is also targeting international expansion, including plans to export Sardar Cattle Feed to African markets.
The evolution of Sardar Cattle Feed reflects a broader shift from traditional cattle-feed businesses toward integrated animal-nutrition portfolios, supported by product diversification, quality-control processes, distribution expansion and international market opportunities.
