In a transformative move to bring pure, hygienic, and nutritious milk to every household, the Rajasthan government has rolled out an ambitious initiative under the Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement 2024-25. The program aims to appoint 1,000 Saras Mitras across the state, tasked with ensuring the home delivery of Saras milk and a wide range of dairy products. This initiative is designed to meet the growing consumer demand for high-quality milk and dairy items while also ensuring convenience and accessibility.

The Udaipur Milk Union took the lead in implementing this program at the local level. The initiative was officially launched in the city with a flagging-off ceremony by Dalchand Dangi, Chairman of the Udaipur Milk Union. During the event, 30 Saras Mitras were introduced as the first batch of delivery agents for the program. To maintain the freshness and quality of the products, each Saras Mitra was provided with an insulated box, specially designed to preserve the temperature and hygiene of milk and dairy items during transit.

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director Vipin Sharma shed light on the rising demand for Saras milk and dairy products in the market. He emphasized the premium quality, high nutritional value, and stringent hygiene standards that Saras Dairy has consistently upheld. Sharma explained that the program is not merely about delivering milk but about building trust and ensuring that consumers have easy access to wholesome, fresh, and nutritious products without stepping out of their homes.

This initiative goes beyond meeting consumer needs; it also addresses the broader goal of strengthening the state’s dairy sector. The introduction of Saras Mitras as a dedicated network of delivery agents ensures employment opportunities for individuals while simultaneously building a strong connection between Saras Dairy and its customers.

The service is expected to be a game-changer for urban households, providing them with the convenience of reliable home delivery of dairy essentials. Consumers can now avail themselves of a variety of products, including milk, curd, butter, paneer, and ghee, delivered straight to their doorsteps with guaranteed quality and freshness.

The state government, in partnership with Saras Dairy, envisions this initiative as a step toward ensuring healthier lifestyles for its citizens. The focus on pure, fresh, and nutritious milk reflects the government’s commitment to improving the well-being of its people while fostering a sense of trust and satisfaction among consumers.

This milestone initiative not only enhances the reputation of Saras Dairy as a trusted household name but also lays the groundwork for modernizing the dairy delivery system across Rajasthan. With plans to scale the initiative to other cities, Saras Dairy is set to revolutionize the way milk and dairy products are consumed, making them a staple of daily life for families across the state.
