Sangam Dairy Targets ₹2,500 Crore Turnover

Guntur, September 28, 2026: Sangam Dairy has outlined an expansion strategy aimed at increasing its turnover from around ₹2,260 crore to ₹2,500 crore, with a focus on milk procurement, farmer services, processing capacity, technology and market expansion. Chairman Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar announced the plans while addressing the dairy’s 13th Annual General Body Meeting in Guntur.

Sangam Dairy currently procures around 8.70 lakh litres of milk per day, compared with a peak of 10.50 lakh litres per day recorded last year. The dairy plans to establish 10 additional chilling and milk collection centres by December to strengthen its procurement network.

Digital Link Between Farmers and Dairy
Sangam plans to digitally connect milk collection centres and farmers through a society app. The platform will enable producers to access information on milk collection, fat, SNF (solids-not-fat) and the value of milk supplied.

The dairy is also strengthening preventive veterinary services. According to the company, special attention is being given to 570 cattle, while efforts are being made to facilitate conception in another 320 animals.

Farmer-support measures include a 50% subsidy for loose housing and ₹2,500 calf kits for calves born through sexed semen. Sangam has set a target of distributing more than 2,000 calf kits during the current year.

The dairy has also trained 56 Pashumithras and is providing a ₹1-per-kg subsidy on silage. The company said it has so far extended ₹18 lakh in assistance under the silage-support programme.

Processing Capacity to Expand
Sangam’s procurement in Telangana has reached around 30,000 litres per day, indicating an expansion of its milk-sourcing network beyond Andhra Pradesh.

The dairy plans to double the capacity of its Miryalaguda plant to 3 lakh litres per day. It is also developing a new dairy plant at Naidupeta on 25 acres, which is planned to initially process 2 lakh litres of milk per day and is expected to commence operations within a year.

The expansion strategy comes alongside Sangam’s broader focus on farmer welfare, quality, technology and infrastructure. The company has indicated that increasing milk procurement and processing capacity will be central to achieving its ₹2,500-crore turnover target.

For the dairy sector, the strategy highlights the growing importance of integrating farm-level support, digital milk procurement, animal productivity and processing infrastructure as dairy companies seek to scale their operations.
