Nandini to Make a Mark in ISL and Expand Nationally

By DairyNews7x7•Published on September 04, 2024

Karnataka's Nandini dairy brand, a home-grown initiative by the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), is set to sponsor the 11th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament. This season will run from September 2024 to March 2025, with Nandini's branding expected to be prominent throughout the tournament.

KMF's Managing Director, MK Jagadish, mentioned that the sponsorship deal includes strategic placements such as LED boards, presentation backdrops, dugout areas, and extensive TV and OTT exposure. Nandini is also planning to enter the Delhi market with products like milk, curd, butter, and ghee. The brand recently entered the U.S. market with "Nandini Splash," a whey-based energy drink, and has already made its mark by sponsoring international cricket teams during the World Cup.

In the past, Nandini's prominence became a topic of political debate when Amul announced its entry into Bengaluru, leading to clarifications from former CM Basavaraj Bommai that Nandini's position in Karnataka would remain strong.
