KOMUL Milk Prices Hiked From March 18
Milk prices under the Kolar Milk Union Ltd (KOMUL) in Karnataka have been revised upward with effect from March 18, impacting consumers across Bengaluru and surrounding regions. As per the revised structure, KOMUL has increased its milk procurement price from ₹37.85 per litre to ₹39.85 per litre, marking a ₹2 per litre hike.
The price revision is expected to reflect on retail milk rates supplied under the cooperative network, which operates under the broader Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) umbrella. Officials indicated that the revision comes amid rising input costs and the need to ensure better returns for dairy farmers, aligning with periodic price adjustments seen across milk unions.
