Dodla Dairy Limited has strengthened its eastern India expansion strategy with its wholly owned subsidiary, HR Food Processing Pvt Ltd, securing 7.15 acres (311,333 sq ft) of land in Bihar for setting up a new dairy manufacturing facility.
The land, located in the Dumaria industrial area of the Motipur cluster, has been allotted on a 90-year lease by the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), reflecting the state’s push to attract food processing investments.
The upcoming plant will manufacture a wide range of dairy products including milk, dahi, paneer, lassi, butter, ghee, flavoured milk and traditional milk-based sweets, targeting rising consumption demand in the region. (Food Infotech) The company has already accepted the allotment terms and is in the process of completing formalities to take possession of the land.
This development aligns with Dodla Dairy’s broader strategy to expand processing capacity and strengthen its procurement and distribution network in underserved eastern markets, with the project also expected to generate local employment and support dairy farmers through improved infrastructure.
