The following subsidy schèmes are being approved for milk farmers to get fair price for their milk:-

A. MilkSubsidy Schemes

1. A subsidy of Rs.5/- per liter is being allowed to milk producing farmers for cow milk collected through cooperative milk unions and private milk projects in the state.

2. Co-operative Milk Unions and Private Milk Projects will Le required to pay a minimum rate of Rs.30/- pet liter for the quality of 3.5 fat/ 8.5 SNF to the milk producing farmers through cashiers code (online) to the respective milk producing farmers' personal bank account. . Thereafter, the farmers will be directly debited (DBT) to their bank accounts at Rs.5/- per liter through the Government.

3.Fat and SNF per point less than 3.5/8.5 per point can be deducted 30 paise each. Also 30 paise per point should be increased.

4.For the implementation of the said scheme, it is approved to pay subsidy through computer system (software) to the bank account of milk producing farmers through DBT.

5.Cow milk collection through cooperative milk unions and private milk projects is about 120 lakh liters per day as per the data of June, 2024. As per the proposed subsidy of Rs.5/- per litre, a subsidy amounting to around Rs.540.00 crore will be required for a period of three months. However, the above amount is likely to change depending on the increase or decrease in actual miIk collection.

6) In order that no eligible milk producer farmer is deprived of the subsidy under the said scheme, an incentive of Rs.0.05 per liter should be given to the co-operative milk unions and private milk projects which fill the data of milk producers in the computer system, for which a fund of Rs.5.40 crore has been approved. is being given.

7) The said scheme is approved to be implemented from July 1, 2024. After reviewing the presented scheme every 2 months, a decision will be taken from the government level regarding the extension of the scheme for the next period.

b) Milk Powder Export Scheme:-

1) An incentive subsidy of Rs.30/- per kg is being sanctioned to the projects in the state which will export milk powder.

2) Present milk powder subsidy of 15 thousand May in the state. Tons of milk will be permissible for powder.

3) Rs.30/- per kg for export of 15 thousand MT of milk powder in the state. A subsidy amounting to Rs.45.00 crore is being approved as subsidy.

4) Subsidy is being paid to the exported milk powder during the period from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024.

C) Incentive Subsidy Scheme for Production of Dudh Bhukti produced within the State:-

1) An incentive subsidy of Rs.1.50 per liter should be allowed to the projects in the state which will produce milk powder.

2) To avoid duplication of the proposed milk powder subsidy, take advantage of a single scheme of Rs.30/- per kg incentive subsidy to the projects in the state which will export milk powder or Rs.1.50/- per liter incentive subsidy to the projects in the state which will produce milk powder. will come

3) Milk Powder Conversion Subsidy will be applicable for milk being converted up to a limit of 60 lakh liters per day.

4) It will be mandatory to have a minimum fat content of 3.2/8.3 SNF of the milk used for conversion to benefit from the scheme.

5) Those milk powder projects participating in the Milk Subsidy Scheme under "A" above, the benefit of milk powder conversion or milk powder export promotion subsidy will be payable to the same milk powder projects.

6) The said grant will be applicable only to those projects where Dudh Bhukti project is operational.

7) It will be mandatory for the milk powder project to inform the office of District Dairy Development Officer regarding the data of milk used for milk powder and the data of milk powder produced from it.

D.General Terms and Conditions:-

1.It shall be compulsory for the cooperative milk unions and private milk projects participating in the above scheme to keep the record of milk purchase updated daily and submit it to the concerned District Dairy Development officer. A copy of the same should be submitted to the  Commissioner, Dairy

2. The Commissioner Dairy development should verify the final payment of the subsidy of the scheme.

3.  The Commissioner, Daily Development will take action as necessary to regularly inspect the above scheme.

4. If irregularities are found in this scheme through and cooperative mill union and private milk projects, legal action will be laden against the respective unions and the amount of subsidy will be recovered with interest. Also the same Teams/projects will be disqualified for grant.

5. The said subsidy will n0t be applicable to milk collected from 0utside the state.

6. Present milk subsidy  scheme will be applicable only to the milk producing farmers 0f the State.

7.    Registration of milch animals(EAR TAG) from farmers participating in the scheme will remain mandatory in Maharashtra state 0n INAPH/Bharat Pasudhan portal.

8)    Aadhaar link 0f farmer's bank account of livestock. Registration should be d0ne on NAPH / India Livestock PortaI.

9. Commissioner, Dairy Development shall be responsible for strict implementation of the above terms and conditions.

Deputy Commissioner (Processing and Distribution ), bairy Development is being declared as the C0ntrolling officer for drawing lhe subsidy amount from this head, Bairy Development and Drawing and Disbursing 0fficer.
