Andhra Pradesh government is concerned about the farm gate prices for milk and sugarcane. Chief minister Sh Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy headed a review meeting to discuss about dairy development and sugar factories in the state.
Mr Reddy asked the officials to sign an MOU with AMUL for the development of dairy sector by July 15th. The MOU would cover all aspects of dairy development and improvement in farm gate prices for milk in the state.
The MOU will cover all the steps required for well being of the livestocks. It will also help in strengthening of cooperative sector to benefit the dairy farmers. The MOU will also cover developing better marketing facilities by putting modern technologies to use.
